    I wanted to brush up on basic mathThe book is exactly what I wanted. It offers sample problems and walks you through the equation. Very helpful.

    Great work book!My son worked on this book when he was 10. It is smaller in size compared to regular workbooks and does not take too much time to complete the whole book. My son is strong in math, and he has completed this book within a few weeks. Still, it is great material for learning and refreshing basic math skills. I looked around a lot of kids’ workbooks. One think exceptional about KUMON is the answer keys usually have no mistakes. This is true for ALL KUMON books. I recommend not only this KUMON but also other KUMON workbooks.

    Great for HomeschoolI homeschool and use these books as a main curriculum and then add DVDs and fun projects. I also print free worksheets off the internet to go with the lesson. Love them!!

    StraightforwardThis is a good, practical workbook. It’s thorough without being tedious. I’d recommend it for extra practice or if copying problems out of a textbook is an obstacle for your kiddo. We use ours for home school.

     I guess it was very ambitious of me:) My son completed grade 4 and turning 10 in 3 months, but he hasn’t learned any of that in his private school. Probably something that they will start in grade 5. I do like the explanations. We buy all jumbo books and despite of how much complaining he does, he performs better at school after practicing at home!

    these are very structured books and fun to dofast delivery.I buy kumon books for my daughter in all subjects that are available.she enjoys doing them (most of the times).these are very structured books and fun to do.t.she just finished year 4 this and moving to year 5.she improved a lot since she has been doing kumon books.in her final report she did 4c and 4b in all subjects. she used to go to kumon centre,she did not liked it and found it boring.more important that we had to pay £50 for each subject on a monthly basis. now we do not have to travel to the centre and he can work on these books at her paste.very pleased.I would recommend them

    MediocreI was looking for something to enrich my daughter’s math curriculum. I think this is very basic. I was actually much happier with the graded math books that Costco sells. They are definitely better and cheaper and address better than Ontario curriculum.
