     We love this book as a supplement for are IXL division workbook. This is a wonderful practice book for your child to keep their skill level up during the summer.

    Great GuidanceEvery summer I buy workbooks for my two boys. This year I chose Kumon, I purchase the whole collection of Grade 4 for my son going into 4th grade and the whole collection of Grade 3 (thinking Grade 2 would be too easy) for my son going into 2nd grade. Later on I found that my younger son had difficulties in some areas in Grade 3 so I bought Grade 2.This has been a great guidance for my kids and I. The books helped my kids learn step by step and I really do see improvements. Its great for me, I simply use the answer sheet to correct and it helps me find out what their weaknesses are. Overall I really like Kumon workbooks compare to previous companies that I have purchased because I do see improvements. Next year I will purchase Kumon again.

    Great Source For Supplementary Division PracticeThis was a support item I bought when I was homeschooling our daughter in 3rd grade. Our primary math curriculum was Singapore math, which I highly recommend and can’t say enough good things about (and yes, they do have a common core version of that), but she was struggling more with division and needed more practice then the workbooks we had for that provided, and I didn’t have a bunch of time to scour the internet for additional worksheets.I found this to be perfect for that (though she, admittedly, was less then thrilled about the extra practice). It had a variety of different worksheets, with division from memory based on math facts, to the beginnings of long division, to division with a remainder. It worked well for the support we needed, and it was worth buying it to save a bit of my precious time.

    Wonderful book to teach division facts .I bought this book for my son who is now in 2nd grade . First, I bought Kumon’s multiplication book which made him learn his multiplication tables and then I bought this, which helped him in mastering his multiplication and division facts . Every year during summer breaks, I buy age and level -appropriate kumon books and they really help kids in building strong foundation of mathematical concepts. I would highly recommend these books . I wish I could give 10 stars this .

    Great explanationI purchased these because my son, in the 4th grade at the time, seemed to have forgotten the basics to multiplication and he was struggling learning the larger multiplication facts. I bought this as a refresher and to give him more practice. There was a great improvement in his math class after making him work in this book daily.

After I ordered 2 books, I was so impressed that I wanted them all. It is perfect for “filling in the gaps” for my son. He can work at his own pace and continue learning throughout the summer. We are going to continue with these books throughout the school year. I would highly recommend these books to any parent who wants to help their child make major improvements in reading and math.

    Math successI love Kumon books. I wasn’t sure how to approach division. But it turned out I was on the right track. She is having very little trouble picking up the method of division. Fall won’t have a slid back, we should be on a stronger track.

    Great way to ease kids into Division.My kid is in third grade, but his math program is so slow! I bought him the Kumon books and make him do two pages every night. He loves it! No stupid word problems like the Common Core. Just math problems. They get progressively difficult, but at a pace he has no trouble keeping up with. SO HAPPY to have these books.

I believe the book is right on target with what our child is learning in class at the moment. I only wish there were more traditional division problems in the book.

    Better Than Expected!I was looking for some books to guide my son step by step through the division process of math and this book does just that. I also purchased the addition, subtraction and multiplication books and they are excellent! I would definitely recommend these books for first – third graders (depending on the advancement of each child). You will not be disappointed!

    Kumon – Division – Grade 31 of my children have used this book. I am a firm believer in repitition and the Kumon math books give you that practice. It is full of hundreds of problems that give this repitition.

    Does not follow the Kumon formula of the other Kumon booksThis Kumon book does not follow the format of the addition, subtraction, and multiplication book for the same skill level (single digit division facts). In those books, the book goes step by step through the math facts. First 0 and 1s, then 2s, then 3s, through 9s. But this book jumps all over the place. Instead of going step by step they go through everything, even on page 1. If you are looking for the Kumon formula of step by step that has worked great in all of the other Kumon books, from beginning letters and numbers through multiplication, then you are going to be disappointed with this book.

I like how it had a few review multiplication pages in the beginning of the book.     Not badI bought this Kumon math workbook for my 3rd grader. It’s easy to work with, well written and explained. It has lots of practice materials and going over stuff. But my daughter thought it is just too simple and easy. This book just has page after page of math problems. There is little instruction and there are no fun things or any variation. I do not recommend this workbook unless you are just looking for drills and then you can find online worksheet generators for free. We simply used the free printable worksheets on the Beestar website (its math programs are completely free ). It is probably the best among the many learning sites. The worksheets are well-designed and have both time and accuracy targets set for your child to practice. If you are like me, you will be glad to find that sometimes free stuff is even better.

    EXCELLENT, SIMPLE & AFFECTIVEExcellent my daughter loves this book (she is six) she has some knowledge of time telling, however the questions give great clear examples aswell as repetitive/slightly similar questions to get them to remember and understand the questions being asked. It also encourages them to write their name aswell as the date, this can obviously be written by the parent but I myself encourage my daughter to write this herself. It helps them to understand telling time in steps which I really like from o’clock to minutes past a specific time and my daughter finds it fun and completes multiple pages in one sitting with excitement to see how she has done. Another plus and goal accomplishment task for the children is that you can reward them with a certificate when they have completed the book which my daughter is on a mission to get lol. Love it and would definitely recommed. I am a homeschooling parent so Kumon books are affective and helpful to me and my daughters journey.

Once the concept is clear … it’s a lot of repetition which helps her to remember the concept properly and gives her “I can do it” feeling. I am very happy with these books.     Okay to introduce divisionsBook was okay and follows the kumon foundation of repetitive learning. However my daughter who was in year 3 at the time I bought it found it a bit too easy so we had to sought for something more challenging.

    Step by step practiceKumon has developed a method whereby children practice each new concept so that when they advance it is in small steps that are easily understood. I was amazed at how my daughter in grade 2 quickly learned multiplication and division, where other kids are struggling because of the way they are taught in school. Don’t hesitate to use the kumon system, it works. If your child is in grade 3, start with the addition/subtraction book, then go on to the multiplication book, then finally to the division. It takes daily practice, but it is well worth the effort.

    Another Super Kumon Workbook!Brilliant!!! Kumon’s Maths books are SUPER in training beginners. This Division Grade 3 book is simple but effective.The layout is in worksheets format. So if you are not a fan of Maths worksheets, then it is not for you. As the title stated, this book deals with divisions with a few revisions of multiplications in the first few exercises. There are 43 double-page exercises altogether.Exercise 1-7 (multiplication reviews),Exercise 8-17 (simple divisions),Exercise 18-33(division with remainders) – e.g. 22 divide by 3,Exercise 34-38 (vertical divisions),Exercise 39-42 (divisions with large numbers) – e.g. 180 divide by 30 or 280 divide by 70 etc.,Exercise 43 (review).
