    Buen contenidoMi hija esta en tercer grado y su primera lengua no es español. Este libro la ayudo mucho en su comprensión de escritura y vocabulario apropiado. A ella le sirvio mucho además que se sintió motivada a mejorar su escritura. Las instrucciones son claras y la sección de respuestas le ayudaron a corregirse ella misma cuando cometio errores. Honestamente a mi también me gusto mucho el contenido de este libro.

    So far, so good!I got it for my eight year old to get her more interested in writing (she really dislikes writing). So far, she loves it. It’s not too much writing and she likes the points for rewards every lesson. I homeschool and it is a fight to get her to write anything, but this workbook seems to be great so far (we’ve only done two of the two-page lessons).

    Targeted grammar instructionSummer slide workbook. Most student’s can walk theirselves through these lessons, they follow a logical progression. Bought for my dyslexic daughter. She struggles to read some of the names but all vocabulary is familiar and builds her confidence. Targeted skills make sense and teach grammar.

After I ordered 2 books, I was so impressed that I wanted them all. It is perfect for “filling in the gaps” for my son. He can work at his own pace and continue learning throughout the summer. We are going to continue with these books throughout the school year. I would highly recommend these books to any parent who wants to help their child make major improvements in reading and math.

    Great workbooksI really love the Kumon books. They are my favorite brand I’ve ever bought and I’ve bought many. My only gripe is that I wish they were bigger Or had more LA options per grade. The math offers many per grade which is perfect.

    Great tool for homeschoolingThis series is awesome. We started with Grade 2 Writing and my daughter enjoyed it so much we continued on with Grade 3. Simple, clear lessons break down the basics of English grammar with easy to follow exercises.

    Good workbookMy daughter uses this for after school. I did homeschool her and used some of this in her curriculum. But now after reconsidering homeschooling I put her back in school, and she does this as extra work at home. She likes it.

    We love Kumon!I love Kumon everything. My daughter goes to learning center twice a week and works on the booklets they give her daily. This helps her do extra stuff. She loves it and her reading, writing and math has l improved so much it’s been an amazing transformation! It’s also affordable.

    excellent writing workbookMy daughter was not very good at writing, so our friend recommended this Kumon workbook to us. This book came as a great help. My daughter likes this writing workbook a lot. It mainly introduces grade 3 vocabulary and writing skills in a step-by-step manner. My daughter often practices her writing according to the prompts in this book. I can see her improvement day by day. She has been much more confident in writing than ever before. In order to do more practice, my daughter also joined the English Language Arts program in Beestar (a wonderful website beestar.org, which provides the best printable worksheets). She really enjoys it. When kids have the interest, they become smarter. Practicing writing doesn’t have to be painful. When my daughter takes the online Beestar weekly tests, she often ranks high among her peers. I give credits to this book. Highly recommend.

    Love it！This is a great, handy book from Kumon for home use as it’s not as intensive as the classic Kumon model. Our kid is pretty talented and willing to take challenge. However we don’t want to saturated her with daily work from Kumon. She works on online contest weekly at Beestar. This book is our in home extra material to work on when we have some free time in the weekend. She feels it promoted her to higher scores at Beestar. She is excited. For this age, the book and resource she enjoy is the best learning resource. I love Beestar and the Kumon books. I expect we will continue using this set for the years to come.

    書く練習に役立ちそう。小学生の内に使用するのにおすすめします（受験に関係のない大人にもいいです）。忙しい中学生になってからでは、取り組みにくいと思います。接頭辞、接尾辞（形容詞の比較級・最上級も含む）、不定代名詞（either,another,anyone,anything,each,nobodyなど）、コンマの使い方、SとVの一致、SVOの文、Vの過去形（規則・不規則）、進行形（過去・現在・未来）、語順整列（平叙文、疑問文、命令文、感嘆文）、形容詞とは、説明文の書き方（first、next、then、finally）、物・出来事・人・場所の説明の仕方、段落について、等が学べます。前2割がフルカラーで、残り8割は2色刷りです。接頭辞・接尾辞を学ぶので、効率よく語彙を増やしていくのに役立ちます。30年以上前に中学生だったので、今の中学の授業はわかりませんが、当時、接頭辞・接尾辞について教えてもらった記憶はありません。単語を意味ではなく、文字の観点で系統だって紹介している部分もまあまあ見られ、書くという目的に照らすと、覚えやすいように思います。不規則動詞の過去形、副詞＝形容詞＋lyになっているもの、など。現地の小3には易しい教材のようです。日本の中3にも易しいレベルの文法しか載っていないと思います。ただし、語彙は豊富です。簡単な単語で、習わなくてもわかりそうな単語ですが、中学では習わないものがたくさん載っています。redo,untie,subzero,unload,rewrap,preheat,swiftly,anxiously,wobbly,sculpture,greedy,grace,article,mammal,reptile,leftoversなどなど。
