Kumon advocate for lifeLove these books! I am a former Kumon student and instructor assistant. I buy these Kumon books for my friends to introduce and help them understand the Kumon way. The best time to start Kumon is at the earliest age possible. These books are great supplements to introduce your kid(s) to skills. However, based on a few other reviews, these books does not replace the Kumon program. If you are looking for the worksheet curriculum that involves repetition, self-learning and mastery you need to call/email your local Kumon center and enroll in the program.

Workbook a toddler can do with no helpMy 3 year old loved doing this workbook. He finished it in one sitting. Kept him busy learning by practicing pencil holding skills and making perfect lines all by himself, (no help needed) so no complaints here! It has cute illustrations which is a plus!

Fantástico kumon Me encantan los libros de kumon. Éste lo compramos cuando el niño tenÃa casi 3 años y lo hemos ido combinando con otros similares y también de recortar y pegar. No lo habÃamos terminado y lo hemos retomado este verano, que tiene 3 años y medio largos, y le ha vuelto a encantar. Dice: ¡éste es muy difÃcil! Y se motiva él solito ante el reto. Va aumentando en dificultad, como todos los de el método kumon. Nosotros además empezamos haciéndolos con rotus, y ahora estamos practicando con lápiz, más difÃcil porque hay que hacer más fuerza, y además trabajando la posición de los dedos, que como le cuesta mucho, le cogà unos adaptadores para colocar bien los deditos. Me gustó más el de trazos en español por los dibujos que trae, pero son muy buenos todos, al menos a mi hijo le encantan y se harÃa el libro entero en poco tiempo si por él fuera

Parallel content to “My First Book of Amazing Tracing”, but smallerI wasn’t sure how this differed from the more popular “My first book of Tracing”, so I bought it for a different child. The content is different but parallel, with slightly fewer pages in this book. I’ll go directly to “Amazing Tracing” after we do this one. If I were you, I’d just buy “My first book of Tracing” instead unless you specifically want the smaller size. I will ignore the rest of the Grow to Know series for that reason.
